BioI am a middle school teacher in a Colorado community, and am a firm believer in using games in the classroom to engage students and enhance student learning. I'm an avid gamer, most notably Warlord, Saga of the Storm, by Alderac Entertainment Group. Warlord is based on the D20 Open Source mechanic created by Wizards of the Coast for the Dungeons and Dragons game. This particular journal will just expose my own random thoughts on the subjects of Warlord, games in the classroom, and other random blurbs that I feel like sharing.
I must admit to having gotten this idea from Mr. Black, aka Zechnophobe, a Warlord player and member of the Player Design Team for Warlord, one of the people who drives the game. Thanks Mr. Black for your contribution to a great game and dedication to a healthy and happy playing community.
